A scope certificate is not proof that a shipment is GOTS certified. Each shipment needs a transaction certificate, and we confirm the documents that come with your order.
Dyeing and some other processes are done by outside partners. Tell us the colour you need before you order, and we confirm whether it can be made as GOTS certified.
The two GOTS label grades
GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard. It covers the whole textile chain, not just the fibre. It checks that the fibre is organic, then sets rules for processing, chemicals, wastewater and working conditions.
GOTS has two label grades:
- Organic: at least 95% certified organic fibre
- Made with organic materials: at least 70% certified organic fibre
Our certificate is for the organic label grade. Tell us which grade you need, because it changes the wording you can use on your product.
Organic, recycled or tested
GOTS answers one question, whether the fibre is organic. Buyers often need another certificate as well.

These are the cotton styles we make. If you need one under GOTS, tell us the style, the quantity and the label grade, and we confirm what we can make under our certificate and which documents come with the order. Sizes are in centimetres, height x width + depth.

How to check a supplier's GOTS claim
- Ask for the scope certificate. It lists the company, the site and the products covered.
- Check the dates. The certificate must be current.
- Ask for the transaction certificate. It links your goods to certified organic material.
- Check the label wording. It should match the grade, organic or made with organic materials.
- Ask about printing. Inks and chemicals are part of GOTS, so agree the print method early.

Price, MOQ and lead times
The price depends on the material, the size, the handles, the colour and your branding. We confirm the exact price in your quote.
Export orders start at 1,000 pieces per design, with a minimum total order of 5,000 pieces. Domestic orders start at 500 pieces per design, with a minimum of 1,000 pieces. Samples take 7 to 10 days. Samples without printing are free, and printed samples are charged. Production takes 30 to 60 days. We ship on FOB, CIF, DAP and DDP terms. Custom sizes and shapes are possible. Quality checks
When fabric arrives from the mill we check it against what was ordered. Every finished bag is then checked by hand, one by one, following strict instructions from our QC manager. How to get a quote
To quote accurately we need to know:
- The style of bag you want
- The quantity
- The certificate and documents you need with the order
- The number of colours and sides to be printed
- The delivery date
- The delivery location, so we can price DDP

Frequently Asked Questions
What does GOTS certification mean?
It means the textile meets the Global Organic Textile Standard, which checks organic fiber, processing, chemicals and working conditions.
What is the difference between the two GOTS labels?
The organic label needs at least 95% certified organic fiber. The made with organic materials label needs at least 70%.
Is GOTS the same as recycled?
No. GOTS is about organic fiber. Recycled content is covered by GRS.
Do you hold GOTS certification?
Yes. Our certificate covers bags, totes and pouches from 100% organic cotton at the organic label grade. Ask us for the certificate.
What is the minimum order?
For export, 1,000 pieces per design with a minimum total order of 5,000 pieces. For domestic orders, 500 pieces per design and 1,000 in total.
Can I get a sample first?
Yes. Samples take 7 to 10 days. Plain samples are free and printed samples are charged.
